stillafool Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Overcompensating much Mr. Bond? Is that who you want to be when you grow up and grow some balls? I bet Mr. Bond was on dating forums giving advice to pathetic losers too...pick a better avatar, more suiting your unfortunate nature. Like big bird or cookie monster... WTF? Don't hate Pierre because he's successful.
ThsAmericanLife Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 If America stopped being such a dog eat dog anti-family society people might feel better about having kids. I find it ironic that the same folks who pitch 'family values' are the very ones who have made it difficult to have and raise a family. The profit-at-all-costs (including shipping good jobs overseas), push for endless deregulation (that led the the current housing/banking crisis), elimination of social safety nets, support of wars that send our healthiest young men and women off to die or come back suffering long term physical and mental problems... not to mention, elimination of common sense measures to allow people to choose when to have a family. I consider myself a political 'independent'... but am actively seeking employment in so-called 'socialist' countries in Northern Europe where they seem to have found a balance between working hard, keeping good jobs in their own countries, and also supporting a healthy family balance for BOTH men and women.
ThsAmericanLife Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 Pierre and his 1,751 posts, has nothing better to do than give advice on some random forum to random people. He thinks he is the wise man whose wisdom is needed around the world. Pathetic does not even begin to describe this loser. Go play in the real world you wanker! we are all tired of your bull crap! Pierre is awesome... You only WISH you could be half as cool Like I always say... Don't get pissed. Take notes, buddy!! (as an aside....I've never heard him complain about the ladies in his life giving him poor or no oral... hmm... maybe there is a trend here??)
twister4 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I would love to live the "DINK" lifestyle. Unfortunately, most men I meet want to live the "OINK" lifestyle. That One Income would be MINE. No gonna happen.
Queen Zenobia Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I find it ironic that the same folks who pitch 'family values' are the very ones who have made it difficult to have and raise a family. I'm not a "family values" person (I mean which "family" should we base our values on anyway?). Anyone who wants to have a family should be free to have one. Just don't force me to subsidize them. Profit is good for everyone. Deregulation didn't cause the financial crisis (at least in my opinion). The social safety nets should be optional, why force everyone to participate? War is bad for the economy and should only be something we participate in if absolutely necessary (it's been a long time since that's been the case). And definitely, birth control should be available (and abortion pretty much is impossible to outlaw anyway), but again, just don't ask me to subsidize someone else's birth control choices. I consider myself a political 'independent'... but am actively seeking employment in so-called 'socialist' countries in Northern Europe where they seem to have found a balance between working hard, keeping good jobs in their own countries, and also supporting a healthy family balance for BOTH men and women. Northern Europe is a much different place than the U.S. in terms of economics and social circumstances, but that's another discussion for another day.

Negative Nancy Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 (edited) so-called 'socialist' countries in Northern Europe where they seem to have found a balance between working hard if you call 35 hrs/week "working hard".... keeping good jobs in their own countries where'd you get THAT from? outsourcing and global player games are just as real there... and also supporting a healthy family balance for BOTH men and women. that for one is true. as a mother you are protected from being fired from your job for 3 years, have extra benefits and longer maternity leave, the child has free health insurance and the mother gets ~ 70 % of her last income for about a year after the child is born plus ~ 200 every month from the government until the kid has finished an education - which in some cases can mean up to 27 years old. spots for child care are not overly abundant, but if one manages to get one, it is comparatively cheap - 300 per month at most for a full time spot. yeah, europe's social security system is definitely advanced, but it is uncertain how much longer it's gonna last. Not a big fan of libertarianism huh? I don't find any problem with what QZ said. It's not narcissism it's the freedom to do things voluntarily and not forced.

It's not narcissism it's the freedom to do things voluntarily and not forced. there is no such freedom. libertarianism is a farce. it has never and will never be implemented. i don't see the point in debating the merits of a political/economic system that will not ever be practiced.

I don't know whether to take your post as an insult or as healthy disagreement. I personally do not believe in "public ownership" of anything (land, money, etc.) and taxes, the necessary evil (aka theft) that they are should be used for the things the state is currently in the best position to service (police, courts, national defense, most roads) and everything else should be cut. And yes you are correct a republic is different than a democracy. But I'm not sure what exactly that has to do with libertarianism or voluntaryism. I do believe that a single person is almost always in the best position to decide things in their life for themselves. there is no such freedom. libertarianism is a farce. it has never and will never be implemented. i don't see the point in debating the merits of a political/economic system that will not ever be practiced. "Never" is a very, very long time. I know a Red Sox fan who told me "Boston will never win a World Series". Turns out his prediction was somewhat less than perfect.

allina Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I find it rather annoying to hear that a woman has to either be child free, or be a fat, stretched out, mess. I think that letting yourself go and blaming over eating and laziness on having kids is damaging for the woman, the husband and the marriage. Kids or no kids I think that we have the responsibility to remain presentable, attractive and dignified.
thatone Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 It is practiced. In Somalia. haha, i'm not sure that law by machete is something to aspire to

(as an aside....I've never heard him complain about the ladies in his life giving him poor or no oral... hmm... maybe there is a trend here??) Thanks for kind words:cool:! I am not a fan of fellatio unless there is simultaneous cunnilingus. IN fact, the latter is more enjoyable. IMHO, the vagina is better than the mouth regarding pleasure.
