ls32ssibm Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 It's just not fair. Why do I "get" to feel like this, and she was essentially carefree 10 minutes after dumping me? We only dated 6 months and have been broken up 2. She is already doing the things she used to do with me with a new guy. I know this thanks to Facebook. She was blocked, but I inadvertently found out through other people. I feel like I should be over her by now. I've broken NC, but it doesn't matter because she 100% ignores me like I'm a telemarketer or I never existed. This time in September she told me she loved me everyday. I've gone on one date so far, and I kept comparing the new person to the old one and all it did was justify how "great" the ex was since the new person was so unimpressive. Blah. This just sucks.

Were all different, each relationship is different so it takes some of us longer to heal,,, 2 months is not along time. She may be faking this carefree attitude to hide her pain/guilt and this new guy may just be a rebound. Rebounds usually don't last long. Telling you she still loves you could mean several things,, she could really love you but is not in love with you,, she could be using you as a "fall back" guy incase her new relationship doesn't work out. When you broke N.C. did you tell her how you feel,, what you wanted? If she knows you still love her and want to get back together then leave her alone now,,, it's up to her now,, no more contact. Let her new relationship run its course,, she will respect you for leaving her alone and not begging, pleading, crying etc.
