Leegh Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I have found it difficult to fully get over a LTR which ended many months ago. I believe there could have been a mis-understanding and lack of communication at the end of the relationship. Is it just me, or is it harder to get closure when it is unclear as to how the relationship ended? Personally, for me it's been a lot harder to get over him not really knowing why it ended. Has anyone else experienced a situation like this, where it takes longer to get over a LTR if you are uncertain as to why it ended?
wilsonx Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Its over right? I know why my relationship ended, doesnt make it any easier trust me
Mcnulty Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 If there's a lack of communication at the end, then would he not say that was one of the reasons for it ending? Drifted apart? Would it not open up new wounds contacting him and getting the reasons? Best to look after oneself and take the time to heal i think, but it's your call i guess. Texts just stopped for me, i refused to text her first...you know why?...lack of communication, so what did she do? Fall into another guys arms...my friend and posted it on facebook without telling me to my face....screw closure for me, but if you think it will help you're healing, go for it....Lots of luck. (sincerely).
