Actually it would. Women wouldn't be called whores for having as much sex as men do, men wouldn't be called douchebags simply because they don't want to date the fat women, women wouldn't refrain from having kids just because they can't afford them or don't have a man in their life, but would have kids anyways, or on the contrary, people wouldn't have kids out of peer pressure but only when they were ready...

 

If we all followed our biological attitudes I think the more of us would be happy. I, for one, would have more sexual partners and maybe even an orgasm by now.

I know a lot of people say that, but after all I have been through over the years, I actually mean it. Life is not about material things. As long as the rent and utilities get paid, there is food on the table, and shoes on the kids, it's all good.

 

My ex was an excellent provider, but he never provided 'himself' to our marriage or relationship. I just want the one thing I've never had, someone to truly love me and care about me without hidden agendas, lies, cheating, and stealing. No matter what economical or financial level we happen to be at, through the good and bad, etc.

Also, I don't believe that the ancients were waiting to have kids until "they were ready." Unless, by "ready," you mean that the woman was physiologically mature enough to bear children.

And he laughed about it. I explained that I have certain standards which seem too high to many people, even "unreasonable" and he laughed and responded with

Anyways, spent Saturday night together. We dressed up, went to one of his colleagues halloween parties, but it was boring so we left and went to see a movie. Afterwards we just grabbed a coffee and chatted for a few hours.

IMO, that might be a worthy avenue of pursuit, parallel to seeking a compatible mate. Seek out a skilled lover, have a few orgasms and see how it goes. As chronicled here on LS, sometimes the two aren't necessarily the same person.

1) Most of them started to make more after the marriage (such as my own mother). And a study shows the wider the gap between the wife's income and the husbands, the higher the chance of divorce because the woman will start to lose respect and appreciation toward her man.

 

2) Most of women I know who are married to economically lesser men are less unattractive women who dont have a lot of options in the first place so they settled.
