eleanorhurting Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Hey guys as bad as our breakups are at least you are not kim kardashian. I remember how she said she wanted to be single a year ago and it turned into a disaster. I also said that last december and it also turned into a disaster (although i never got married or even close obviously!). In conclusion, take it easy and slow after your breakup and thank God you are not her today!
SmellOfRain Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 72 days.............that's gotta be a Hollywood record
funnyface Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 very true! I also thought the same thing today.. lucky I'm single and not settling like her! haha
Woggle Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 The whole thing was a publicity stunt anyway. Why on earth are people so fascinated by this family?
SmellOfRain Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 The whole thing was a publicity stunt anyway. Why on earth are people so fascinated by this family? Yea I reckon it may have been to....they received 17 million dollars for the wedding and the wedding itself cost a reported 10 million....not a bad wage for just over 2 months worth of 'work'
perfectlyflawed459 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Maybe we will be hearing from Kris soon on here
M2155 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 If you watched the show (which pat yourself on the back if you don't;)), they both had doubts! Yeah, I can see some instances where people get married quickly and it works but that one wasn't looking good from the get-go.
futuregopher Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I hate to admit this but I have seen a few episodes of the Kardashian Show with Kris. He seems like a genuinely nice guy and a bit of me actually feels bad for them just because I hate to see people go through breakups. I am probably one of the few people that actually believe they did it for themselves and not for the money. I would never date Kim but I was actually happy for her that she and Kris got married. Marriage is a great thing in my opinion. It's kind of sad to see other people go through divorce even though you don't really know them. But unlike them, I don't have millions of dollars lying around post-breakup to make me feel better
Sugarkane Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I would feel like a failue, let alone going through this in front of the whole world to see.
Woggle Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Any guy who married Kim Kardashian deserves whatever he gets. The whole world knows who she is and what she is like.
ffw Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 To OP, Why do you want to compare to others & feel happy at their misery?
Author eleanorhurting Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 Any guy who married Kim Kardashian deserves whatever he gets. The whole world knows who she is and what she is like. what do you think it would take for her to change? Or do you think she really is doomed forever? I think they did it for themselves too (but what do I know) but i just dont think they were a good fit and I feel like they rushed into it out of desperation. I guess it reminds me of things I have done in the past... except I didnt marry them i just dated them and got my heart broken anyways, yay for being single and not settling

Reggie Bush should be thanking his lucky stars right now.
M2155 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I like the Kardashians. They seem like alright people and if you don't agree you must at least give them credit for turning 15 minutes of fame into a reality empire. I like to think Kim and Kris got married genuinely hoping they had met the one, I just think they ignored the obvious incompatabilities because they wanted it to work so bad (she more than he). Plus he is only like 26 and being thrust into that lifestyle, I bet he really didn't know what he was getting himself into. The other sister who got married in like 30 days looks pretty solid with Lamar- but Kim and Kris had so many differences. Just goes to show you need to pay attention to that little voice called doubt. Kim can just follow the footsteps of JLo...haha:laugh:
immitable Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 speaking of celebrity breakups I recently saw a breakup from the 90's a really messy one involving GIGS, drugs, mad sex etc. it was a british tv presenter Paula Yates (bob geldof's wife) and Michael Hutchence from inxs. Really messed up stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuH9jrU0O6g
Author eleanorhurting Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 I didnt mean to sound like i am laughing at her misery. I am sorry if it sounded that way. Some people have said some pretty hurtful things about her and its not cool so I did not mean to add to that. I don't know her or what happened behind closed doors but from interviews I guess I can relate to her because I have been a bit of a serial monogamist for the past few years. I have been trying really hard to change that and I'm glad I can learn from her "public mistake". I wish them the best and I hope she can focus on herself for a while.
