rubberball Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 So my ex lives down the street and we work together. Our kids would play together and we were best friends before anything happened between us. She broke up with me because I thought it was wrong for her to go out of town with another dude even if they were just "friends". They are together now. Mostly NC, though I saw her Saturday as I was coming home, she was jogging past my house. I saw her Sunday driving behind me with her new guy. Tonight, halloween my son wanted to trick or treat there, so I let him; the kids never did anything wrong. The guy answers the door with her daughter, almost broke my heart, again. I know I never should have gone by there. But I did so... She always told me it takes a lot for her to let a man into her kids life, she has been divorced twice ( separated the last time in January ) and then me ( knew her for 6 years, serious for 7 months) now him ( who she has known for 3 months ) i feel for the daughter, three men in her life in less then a year. Thats 'normal'. I am not really asking anything, just venting and looking for support.

If you had this strongly of an opinion against him, there was something that wasn't right. Guess what, you were right, dont let her breaking up with you diminish your trust in yourself. Remember this and tell yourself this, you were right. Your instinct told you the truth. Now its time to look forward and remember this in the future
