ill try and make this as short as able to,been with partner for 12 years have 2 young kids im 32 shes 30,we dont really have nothing in common, quite the oppersite actually,i keep thinking im missing out somewhere in life,(i know sounds selfish).i get really depressed thinking of leaving as i have an idea of whats to come.sometimes i feel im going through phases of a brake up without braking up.

what i worry about is i would deal with the break up quite bad as well as the fear of not being happy ever again and being alone.regretting i left.

Anyone been in this situation.

I am on the other side of your situation... My (ex) boyfriend has felt he needs a break because he's worried the grass may be greener. I told him fine, I moved out and told him I would not wait for him. We were opposit but had fun together and taught eachother new things. We hardly ever fought. He's 34 and I am 27. It cut deep when he told me this, but I let him go. All I know is that it's been 3 weeks and he can't sleep often and still hasn't taken down my photos off his desk at work.

I suppose you need to really think it through and see if it's worth it. And if you decide it's not work breaking uP, you need to talk to your partner about it gently.
