crashcourse Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Hi I happened upon this website and am interested in anyone's opinion on a small dilema I have. I met a man online one month ago, we started emailing then moved onto texting. He was the first to suggest we meet up for dinner soon, this was last week. I replied showing interest in this and asked him when would be good for him but he hasn't contacted me since. Why? Should I have been less quick to agree? I can't see how that would put him off seeing as he made the suggestion. Unless of course he didn't mean it. I just can't figure it out and it's not a huge problem obviously! Should I text him again just to follow up and if he still doesn't reply just leave it?
Leegh Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I would wait a week or two to see if he contacts you. If you do not hear anything from him, you could text him one time and see if he is still interested in meeting for dinner.
Lucky_One Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I would guess that he met a few other women online, and perhaps there was one that he had more of an initial attraction for than you. I wouldn't get hung up on it - just say NEXT! and don't contact him again.
