I took a few of my friends to a party with me and it was pretty fun kept my mind busy for the most part. Towards the end of the night I did think about texting my ex and breaking NC but my friends were there to stop me so I am glad about that!
LSgirl Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Where do you live? It's stil 9:10am here on a Sunday. I'm so glad I went out last night even if it was a couple hours. I put on a costume and I ran into my ex's roommate and was nervous to run into him but I didn't. Today, I feel better, but I'm at work right now. I have many highs and lows throughout the day. So far, Day 8 of NC. How is your night?

My ex. g/f mentioned to me before she dumped me about a Halloween party a friend of hers was having that we would be going to Sat. night but since she's with her ex. now I obviously didn't go. I just stayed home and drank myself silly,, so much fun.

Yeah emotions seem to come in waves, Day 8 is good though, I'm back at day 4 again for the third time... mike588 was that the only thing going on last night?

I don't have alot of friends and didn't hear of any Halloween partys going on around here. I could of gone to a bar which is far away and had some drinks but the last thing I need now is a DUI.

I had one, yes one close friend when I was with my ex now I reached out to some older ones I cut off awhile ago and it has been nice catching up and having people there. So give it a try reaching out to old friends.
