I've read things online about how it looks desperate if you reply to texts right away, and that you should wait an hour or so to respond. I'm the kind of person who always responds immediately upon noticing a text, be it right after it was sent or an hour or so later. If I do this with the person I like, do you think it makes me look desperate? Sometimes he responds to my texts right away and sometimes there's a delay, and same goes for me, depending on the circumstances. Am I supposed to wait before texting back even if I don't have other things to do?

If a guy has a problem with and thinks I'm desperate, I find one who has (in my opinion) a more mature, compatible and healthy attitude to communication. We are different, the trick is to find your match.
