OneFootOut Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 So I have been sending notes back and forth a while to a guy on another social site. We finally exchanged numbers to text a few days ago. The text msg's were going well, flirty and fun, and quite often. He asked one day for a pic while I was out shopping, so I sent it, and he texted back he liked what he saw, etc. We texted as recently as yesterday morning. Well, I logged back into that social site to find a note from him timed from yesterday afternoon : "Hey, are you still around? I haven't heard from you in a while." Do you think he has me confused with someone else? Thinks he's texting someone else? I sent a note back with a little light humor, that would have made it clear I (my profile on that site) was the same person he'd been texting. I noticed he logged off soon after, and haven't heard from him since, in either text or note.
lionashtray Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 This is strange. Well he liked your picture so maybe he just got confused! Perhaps he expected more frequent contact now after you sent him the pic and 'in a while' means 'in a couple of hours'. But him logging off straight away is odd. Give it a few days. See if he replies, if not then it could end up being one of life's mysteries!
