AmericanHoney Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I am having a Halloween Party at my apartment and alot of people are going home because they aren't drinking which is a good thing anyways my one friend is going to be drinking and I asked my roommate if she could stay over and she said no! I do not want anyone staying over at our house period. I said she is drinking and she said well she better drink some coffee because she is not staying over. I know it is just as much her place as it is mine but she is being impossible! I do not want my friend to get into a accident or fall asleep at the wheel but she just doesn't care.
Author AmericanHoney Posted October 29, 2011 Author Posted October 29, 2011 I guess I should of explained it more sorry. I am having a Halloween Party tomm night and a bunch of my friends from work, etc, etc are coming over. My one friend who is attending the party drinks heavily and usually the party ends early enough so she doesn't have to worry about staying over. However my party tomm is lasting until 3 am and she is worried about driving home that late at night and possibly getting pulled over. I asked my roommate if she could stay over and she said no it is her house and no one stays over ever. I say she is being impossible because I do not want my friend to get into an accident.

I know the party has already been had. You should, in the future, remind your roommate that you both pay rent and it is not up to her to decide unilaterally who you will have as overnight guests. If you want to have someone stay overnight, it is will within your rights to do this in a respectful and non-intrusive manner.
