Hold on a minute. If she is attractive by decree of the masses of LS and really does earn lots of money, then all of the above is ok?

What? That is massively fickle. Like, insanely not-even-just-having-a-laugh fickle. Who thinks like that?

Must have missed the bit where the OP disclosed she earns lots of money. I thought she was an average earner wanting a high roller..

Take cae,

She's said she wants someone who's as attractive as her and makes as much money...eluding to the fact she rakes in 6 figures strong.

No way! Really? How is that even possible? By sheer fact of where you would be able to live, that would cut out most of the riff raff the OP is complaining about.

I agree on cutting out riff raff types but such action is not based exclusively on earning power. Wow.. just think of all the great people the OP is missing out on?

That's sad really in many respects.

Yeah...find her older posts. She says something very similar to what I posted.

Paying without looking at the check is something I always do.

I generally have a ballpark idea of much is going to be so there is not need to revise the check for accuracy.

That's just stupid. How do you know how much money to put? There's a difference between having a good idea or ballpark figure and being spot on. If you don't look you're either massively overtipping most of the time or undertipping and even paying too little and getting in embarassing situations sometimes.

This is a big "who cares?".

I doubt that anyone here knows whether you're "good enough" or not, but sending out a "big FU" certainly does not make you look very … classy.

Indeed, if a man is looking for a woman with class, then at one point he'll see right through you. Although I get the idea that THIS guy might just accept you for who you are.

A man that is ok with being used as an ATM machine will likely want to see something in return. He's likely going to see this as a business transaction, as an exchange.

Like I said in your previous thread. There are wealthy men who are ok with that kind of dynamic and there are wealthy men who want love.

If love is what you want, then this is the wrong way to go about things, because that dynamic is not tailored for love. It's tailored for sex in exchange for money. You think he doesn't understand that?

Uhhh...am I missing something? Did this guy ask you to move in, quit your job, and offer to support you?

Oh...no. He took you on two dates.

I think the "big FU" is a little premature, then.

You're right. If you have money you can buy these things.

But then what is a woman good for? If you can hire a chef, a maid and a prostitute, then what is left for your girlfriend?

I challenge YOU to answer your own question. If what you offer can easily be bought, and you don't offer or want love, or children or even marriage … what would be the point of having YOU for a girlfriend?

I'm not being mean, either. I really want to know what you think. I mean, what would the point be?

Went on a date a couple days ago with an okay looking guy, very smart it turns out, tall with dark eyes. Appealing, but not as attractive as I would like.

We met through means of work (I had to go to a meeting and he works in that building). I was making a tea and we started to chat. Eventually we exchanged information and he took me out.

We met at this very classy italian restaurant. He ordered a very delicious bottle of white wine and we got to it. After about a 2 hour dinner, we asked for a cheque, and without even looking up he said "Thank you" to the waiter who brought it, paid without thinking twice and then we made our way.

I have seen him once since then, and things seem to be going great (so far, I don't wanna jinx).

He's 34, no kids, never been married, and seems to appreciate my blunt honesty. Says most women aren't so upfront and usually beat around the bush, he appreciated my straightforwardness.

HAH! It look a while but it still happened. I am seeing him again this Hallowe'en weekend. I'll keep all you pessimistic, mean people posted :)

Is he OK with supporting you financially even though you won't have his children? I remember a thread about this from you not too long ago. Not saying it's a bad thing, just a little odd to demand this from a man you aren't going to have children with. Just because you cook and clean doesn't mean a man is going to pay your bills. Most men wouldn't go for that.

Hopefully this guy is willing to do that for you.:)

Is this supposed to mean anything???

Leave it in your will that your great-granddaughter from your union with one of these so-called great catches should come back and write your final Loveshack post on the topic after your death, otherwise you're still what you were last month, whatever that was.

So you found a well-to-do man who pays for your stuff and puts up with your condescending crap. Looks like you are set for life.
