that dude Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Living in a university dorm, me and a girl down my hall have been "seeing eachother" not official girlfriend, boyfriend for the past month or so. In the beginning of the relationship she wold ask me to hang out a few times every day but in the past week she hasen't once. I confronted her about this and she said that she dosen't have the same drive to be with me anymore. She has borderline personality disorder and goes through times where she can't tell what shes feeling or what she wants and says that this is one of those times. I still have strong feelings for her and would do anything to make things go back to how they were. I want to tell her that this isn't fair to me and we should keep hanging out and maybe being with me will help her get out of this low point or make her realize if she still has feelings for me or not. Could really use some advice.
Author that dude Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 any advice at all? im desperate
SingleinSouth Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Ugh, BPD is so tough to deal with in a relationship. They see things in terms of black and white, therefore, they are hot and cold for you. You never know when they switch to not wanting you (cold) and this is very resistant to change. Consider that she did you a huge favor but who knows? She may be hot again for you next week. Read up on BPD in the meantime. Whew boy, I don't want any part of that in a relationship!

Have you googled the disorder? It's awful. Their feelings are all over the place and their lives are nothing but drama filled. I think people like that actually feed off drama. I don't know what kind of person you are, but if you don't like the back and forth bulls*t and a drama filled life, be done with this girl. Good luck.
