BrentB Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 So here's the deal. I'm in my early 30's, single, I have a full time career, and I'm trying to start my own business on the side. I'm somewhat naturally introverted; however, I definitely have reasonably good social skills and I've always managed to keep a good circle of friends. While I have many friends all over the world, I don't really have any pals that I spend a lot of time with and that I can regularly 'hang out' with. Either my friends live abroad and I don't get to see them very often or they are married with children and have completely different lifestyles than I do. Have any of you experienced something similar? Do any of you have any recommendations for starting a social circle from scratch and new friends when the highly sociable years of your life seem to be over???
doushenka Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 Are you on Facebook with any of these people? Do they have friends living closer/who have more time to get out and about? Might be worth exploring. Hang in there!
