blackcrow37 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 My boyfriend had been together for two years and then we broke up because I had to leave for a job and I was going kind of crazy. While we were broken up for two months, he had another girlfriend for the entire time that he moved in with right away. He phoned me one day saying he regrets leaving me and regrets rebounding so hard with this girl right away, and a week later he dumped her to be with me. I'm finding it really hard to get past the fact that he was emotionally involved with someone else, I know it shouldn't because he's had past girlfriends before, it's just hard because this was in the middle. I really care about him and want to make it work, I just don't know how to move past that. He said she was just "infatuation" while I was "love" which is why he wanted me back, but I still don't like that he was infatuated with someone, especially someone who is still in his life because they still contact each other... Infatuation is a pretty strong emotion, and I'm just scared of trusting him, scared that he'll let that get the better of him.
Professor X Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 Sounds like he was cheating on you before your breakup. No other explanation as to why he moved in with this other girl so quickly.
SincereOnlineGuy Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I think you seriously need to consider the fact that your boyfriend was already involved with this 'girlfriend' Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, exactly where did you get that so-called "fact" ??
cdm369 Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 While you are at this point if you want to give it another try set boundaries. If the girl he was infatuated with is a big issue, tell him no contact.
