HI! ok so heres my situation...i am a decent looking guy: exercise about 5 days a week and have some built to me so i know looks are not what is hurting my chances. I am also in grad school studying to be a doctor and am 22 years old.

Problem is i haven't dated in over 2 years :( i wouldnt say i get nervous around girls but if i saw/met a girl i though was attractive/nice, I find it quite hard to make a move. I dont want to be older and looking back on the my life and never find someone. I need advice/honesty/the brutal truth from you people. What can I do to turn my life around and get a girl! I am studying to have a great career/life and I know i bring a lot to the table. What can I do to be more confident starting today to meet some women/get some dates?!?!?!

Ok, Ill try and list some ways that I would imagine would be the best ways to meet a guy if I were a single lass"

1) friends (any friends know anyone, utilize your available resources)

2) classes (college/grad school mainly, but also cooking, art, hiking, hell... even taxidermy, anything that interests you, Im sure it interests someone else out there too :))

3) work (work functions, holiday parties, gala's... bring your A Game)

4) a bar (cliche, but, I have heard stories of it working out once or twice! :p

5) Online? (I know a lot of people who have had success in online dating, it may take some time, but eventually you'll meet someone worth testing the waters with)

6) the Gym (you said you go... why not say hi to another woman, then the next time, strike up a conversation)

... in no certain order... just to name a few

I second everything EXCEPT THE GYM.

I'm all sweaty, gross, tired, and focused on working out. I'm usually very friendly but I hate on anyone who tries to talk to me when I'm at the gym. I am not in a flirtateous mood and it's annoying.

Maybe this is just a personal thing though. I do see girls who dress up all cute and put on make-up to go to the gym and when they are there just walk around in booty shorts and tank top casually eyeing the guys. :lmao:
