Is he playing it cool or not that into me?

I met a guy out 2 wks ago he approached me. We chatted, danced and kissed before we went our separate ways. That night he text to see if I was home ok. He texted again the next day, we chatted for a few hours then and again 2 days during the week. He then asked if id like to meet up again that weekend which we did and it all went really well I thought. He dropped me home and was respectful we just kissed and he left. He then text the following day asking how I was and we chatted again.

 

I texted him during the week and he took a few hours to reply but I didn't take much notice as he said he was working. We had a good chat but he didn't mention anything about meeting up again. He didn't text anymore until 4 days later which was last night at 2:30am asking if I'd had a good night out (he was out in another city) I was quite annoyed that he waited until then to text so I didn't reply until this afternoon which was 7 hours ago and I've heard nothing since.

 

I don't know if he's embarrassed that he drunk texted me, is playing mind games or just is uninterested but I don't know what to do as I'm finding it very irritating. I feel if he didn't like me last weekend would he have bothered texting the next day or drunk texting last night? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi U,

I think that during the dating process, we give ourselves the option of seeing several ppl at a time. That should not be a secret. I also think that it's ok not to have daily contact while getting to know others. As he takes his time you should take yours as well, don't single it down to one without shopping around a little and go with the flow.

Hopefully, you'll hear something soon from him, but if not, in a week or so you could send him a text and ask him how his trip was out of town, or say something casual to get the conversation flowing again, and see if he asks you out.
