Lilmisus Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I've heard a few guys (including my boyfriend) throw the term "best girlfriend ever" around quite a few times for doing this or that or for understanding them, or for what ever other reason. I'm just curious what you guys would think would make up the best girlfriend?

These and other small emotional investments are what make for a high level of trust and respect. Beyond that for me she must give good head and not be a practicing republican.

Good show Myself, I'm considering a novel in the style of War and Peace with the ending still unknown at this time. At the moment, I'd take a lady who could grasp one of my deceased mother's tools in her hand and not look at it like it's some alien creature and actually hand it to me while I'm fixing her car. Sometimes it's the simple things. I like a woman who's 'versatile'.

Someone who loves animals, and is prepared to join me as an animal (especially cats) advocate. Someone who reads a lot, enjoys a variety of music, and is a bit of an introvert. Someone who is sexually compatible with me, in that whenever I'm in the mood, she is, too. Someone who won't laugh at me if I cry or show weakness, but will also help stand behind me if I need strength. Someone who will help me learn to grow, and in turn, I will give her room to grow as well.

A person that is giving of herself to those close to her (no just me, she makes sure to make time for her family) and takes the time to help them. 2. Willing to contribute 50% to the relationship 3. Not petty about small things and very down to earth 4. Is very drama averse and does not like those that bring drama 5. VERY giving when in between the sheets 6. Very thoughtful... she will do things like bake me my favorite cookies for when I am taking a trip or pick up something small I need when she is out. 7. Never takes advantage of my trust or gives me a reason to question her motives. This is just a short list and I try to do all of the above for her as well.

I actually talked to him about this. The chick is a lesbian and a good friend of his that doesn't live here. He still talks to her, but that wasn't a serious conversation that they were having and he wasn't being honest when he said he was going to jerk off to her (he actually rarely masturbates, told me this before we started dating, and so far it's easy to see that he's being honest though I didn't believe it at all at the beginning). Before making that comment, he was joking around about how all the guys were going after her and he made those comments as a way to joke around about him going after her as well...they've talked like that before, but it's just his humor, personality, and their friendship. No it's not right, and I've drawn the line with him and told him no sexual conversations or anything with girls, and he says he understands, but it's at least reassuring to know that it wasn't said in seriousness. He also knows that I wont put up with it if I found out he says anything like that again while we're together, lesbian or not. Since the conversation, the flirting and talking to other girls has gone down dramatically and he's really stepping it up to show me how much he cares and is willing to put me first. As for this thread - I'm enjoying some of these comments I'd love to read more of what y'all think the best girlfriend is.
