AH1990 Posted October 19, 2011 Share Posted October 19, 2011 Here's the short story leading up to this: Met a girl. Girl gave me her number (she gave it to me, without me asking). Went out a bunch of times. Cuddled at my house. She slept with me in my bed (no sex). She started telling me she wasn't over her ex. I backed off. She told me she needed time. 2-3 weeks later she was in a relationship. I left, told her I didn't wanna be friends. 2 weeks go by, asks me to text her. Says she's single. I text her the next day, shes not single anymore. Again, I turn down being friends. Back to NC. 2 more weeks go by (yesterday), and this is our conversation Her (1:47pm): Hello Me (4:06pm): Hey Her (4:06pm): How are you? Me (4:40pm): Tired. And you? Her (5:20pm): ****in outta breath!! I just walked up a giant ass hill!! Me (6:45pm): Why were you walking up a giant ass hill? --Initially I sorta ignored her messages. I didn't want to reply right away. Even though I was at work and my phone is attached at my hip. I was just going to let her wait. I'm sure she thought something was up when I didn't reply for over 2 hrs.-- Her: Cause my brother is an idiot lol, and wanted to walk up to some look out and it was closed anyway!! Me: Ohh that's ****ty Her: Yeeeaah. And I just ended my so called relationship I was having --Sorry, just gotta say before I continue with our conversation, but that was a completely random message for her to send me. Why tell me that?-- Me: Oh that sucks. Sorry to hear that. Her: Yeah me not so sorry. Me: What does that mean? Her: It was pointless and was never gonna work out. We both are too different. Me: Ohh ok. Well I wouldn't worry too much about it. Don't beat yourself up over it. --Gotta say, romantic feelings for this girl are going away pretty quickly. Haven't talked to you in two weeks and now this is what your talking to me about?-- Her: I'm not gonna. I'm done with it. Can we talk again now? \ --Ahhhhh what the hell, why not?-- Me: Haha yeahhh we can Her: Okaay good that makes me happy! Me: Ohh really, and why exactly is that? Her: I dunno, we were good friends and it was weird you being all mad at me. --There's that word again.......FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!-- Me: I was never mad at you. I couldn't be mad at you. Her: Then why wouldn't you talk to me? --Are you serious!?!?!?! I don't get involved with girls that are taken. How hard is that to understand?!?!?!?! That's exactly what causes problems! I'm not going to be the 'Other Man'.-- Me: Because you were in a relationship. Her: I don't understand you haha but okay Me: Haha well I just thought it was kinda disrespectful, that's all. Her: Disrespectful? --Come on? Serious now? You don't understand why? Geez maybe the way teenagers date now has changed a lot! I don't remember it back like this when I was young. I ended up being friends with a girl for a week, then we got into a relationship. And that lasted 4 years! Man the times have changed-- Me: Yeah, cause you were in a relationship, and you knew I liked you, so I didn't wanna get involved. Haha this doesn't make any sense at all does it? Her: Noot exactly! --Maybe she really doesn't understand why? But how can you not? Ladies, chime in here. Do you understand why? If you were her age, would you understand this situation you were in?-- Me (10:33pm): Haha nevermind then. Her (this morning @ 5:20am): Haha okaay then. Well grreeeat haha I haven't replied to that last message. I don't even know how to. Where do I even go from here. I've never met a girl that is all over the place like her before. Me personally, I wouldn't tell a girl I was single unless I actually wanted her to know that, and I had intentions of dating her. Anybody's opinion is highly valued here. Chime in!
