My boyfriend and I have begun talking about closing the distance, which is good.

This long distance thing is really taxing and I just don't want to do it anymore. My boyfriend is totally worth it, I just don't want to not be able to see him for six weeks at a time. I want to be able to spend time with him whenever we want.

It's really bothering me today, sometimes I wish there was an easy solution.

I feel you...I'm barely into this LDR thing but I already want it to be over! It's exciting you've begun talking about closing the distance, though :)

I understand!

I don't think any of us want to be long distance, a lot of us don't have much choice though :(

No, we dont want but circumstances push us in that way. My gf broke up because of LDR saying she fell out of love & fall in love with some other guy. Lesson learn, never to do LDR again.

totally understand what u are going thru. i will be with my bf in four years when he changes stations again...it is currently 2.5 months into the four year LDR....3 years and 10.5 months to go or until he get his orders again, what makes it harder is that he plans to volunteer for deployment abroad at some point during these 4 years--he tells me that it means one less person goes to war who doesn't want to go ( i cry whenever I think about possibly losing him abroad)...4 years....feels like forever...sigh....
