My boyfriend watches football ALL DAY on Saturday and Sunday. And that's all he'll do. I myself am a football fan but good lord ... there is more to life than football.

My bf is a good guy and treats me great. I just wish weekends from August-January consisted of more than just the couch.

So he doesn't get to watch football on Mondays, Thursdays and some Fridays? SMH.....

Oh, he does if it's a game he wants to watch ... believe me. Football comes first.

Nome of the guys I've ever dated has been into football.

Hahaha, I hate football, it's so boring. They drop the ball every 5 seconds and then they have to stop and start over. The average football game lasts 3.5 hours. Only 1 hour of that is spent actually playing football. What are they doing the rest of the time? Screwing around. You spend more time watching them get ready to play football than you spend watching them play football.

Lol aw I'm sorry.

My boyfriend isn't into watching sports - but he can spend hours at the computer, programming mods (no season for that either!)

Having alone time can be very nice though --- but it can get way too imbalanced nonetheless.

Ugh. Don't get me started... I'd been dragged to every single game rain or shine. It's like "hun, wouldn't you rather go to the football game and hang with the guys?" Nope, always wanted me there with him.

But whhyyyyyyyy!!!! :mad::mad::mad::laugh:

I don't watch Football, and I'm a guy. But then again, I probably am not the type of guy you'd go for.

Heck no! I look forward to football season every year. I actually watch sports more than my fiance does. As I write this I'm watching the end of the Ravens game .

I'd be really annoyed too. Luckily my bf isn't in to football. He will watch the game and enjoy it but it's not important. He's really into cars and loves them but he doesn't make it seem like an obsession :) And i don't feel like the car is more important than me.

Funny story...when we got into a bad car accident (it's totaled) last 2 weeks his aunt asked him "How's your baby?" because he refers to his car as his baby. He said "she's doing okay now, just sore for a while" and he thought of ME instead of his car haha.

Update (for those interested ): the Ravens won.

I'm all for alone time. We don't normally hang out all day and I'll go do my own thing. But I just moved 4 hours to his city soooo my social life is a little limited outside of him right now.

I'm not asking him to stop. Football makes him happy and it's what he likes to do. So if things happened to work out for us, it'd be something I would need to learn to accept and live with.

imagine your boyfriend/husband looking like jeremy shockey. it worked for most of the women in NOLA.

Hmm, somehow I think a man would be using his time better if for porn and not football!

My wife wishes I would watch more football. The only sport we can agree on is Hockey. we have season tickets to the local team. I just wish i could get her into baseball, she hates it. Any time we go to a game she spends the whole time on her cell.

Games(in my area) dont start till 1, could you just get him up early and do something before hand?
