Dumper - why are you angry and grumpy when YOU insisted on being friends with me?

I was dumped, as most people on here were, late last year. Been 'friends' with my ex since but have decided to now go NC because whenever we meet (which isn't often) he seems angry and agitated in my presence. He has been in a new relationship for a couple but still insists on staying friends. I don;t understand why he, the dumper, is angry at me and why would he want to be friends with someone he acts like he doesn't want to be around? I just don't get it?

U need to go strict nc ... Because as long as they have someone else you become cheaper in there eyes by holding on. Diamonds are valuable because they are rare....

It almost seems as if he is wanting me to go NC. May be he doesn't actually want to be friends at all and is bad company so I'll not bother responding to his meet up requests.

I'll go NC...but I still don't get why he was so keen on staying in touch and yet such bad company when we do!

I know but he's never suggested any post break up sex (he has a girlfriend) and if he wants me hanging around just in case then why has he been so unpleasant and difficult whenever we have met up for coffee - despite him initiating the meet ups?

you are not playing the game Cleo! Good on ya! He isn't getting the reaction he wanted so he is playing you to get you to ask THESE type of questions...

 

Why did you break up if you don't mind me asking? Could it be that he realises he's made a mistake and rather than let you go and get on with a better life without a fuc**ed up knob**** keeping his foot in the door of your life, wants to keep you hanging on until he discovers a spine? JMO but nothing ceases to amaze me how predictable the 'games' that people play are..

 

Bottom line...he doesn't want you to move on. Being a real friend would include wishing you happiness that equates to his own...hmmm Nnt-nuuuuuuuur! Failed on point one!

 

If he lets you go now, you may discover there's a better life out there without him in it and he will have lost you forever.....no gains on his part...do you see where I am going..

 

It's also true to say people keep others around for back up...but that really depends on a few things so...don't assume anything...but consider
