With so many sites like E-Vite, Facebook parties, etc where you can RSVP to an event. Do you typically check out who is on the list of who is ever in attendance to the event. And will NOT go if there is no one there to your liking? (Physically) Reason I ask this, and not saying any of you here have been known to do it, but I have met people who have admitted to only attending events IF there cute guys there. Otherwise, screw the event and not even enjoy it for what it is. Doesn't that say a lot about that person , and by that I mean, does it say how shallow they really are? That you base your night out or day out based solely on the appearance of whoever will be present?

If I went to a drum circle or some concert or fest I like, and my intentions are not "meet potential dates", then I wouldn't care. However, if I really want to meet women for potential dating, then I would be checking out who's going. So if that person you described is going to some singles event, then I can't blame him/her if they decline because they feel all the attendees are not attractive in their eyes. Seen some guys lament on why all the "hot girls" only go to the expensive bars or clubby events, while the more "non-bar" or "non-club" events get middle aged folk, senior citizens, and people they are not attracted to. That's life. Lions don't ask sheep to come into their den, they go to where the sheep are flocking.
Cypress25 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 No, I don't do that. Usually I only go to an event if there will be people that I know in attendance. I don't have to know everyone there, but I wouldn't feel comfortable going if I didn't know anyone.
