Coupedriver Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Not just any SONG mind you..the one by Adele.."Someone like you"...I cant even stand when I hear that song.My world crashes down on me when I hear it...I was in two diffrent stores today and left crying when I heard it over the speakers...!!!!!! A grown man walking out holding his head down while tears stream down....HOW F*CKED can this be..?!?!!?!? I can hear it playing over and over.It seems like its getting worse...
Moth Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I hear you man, same thing has been happening to me too. I am a little better now since it has been 3 months since the break-up. Every time I hear that Adele song it tears me up. My ex really liked Adele too and would always sing the "Rolling in the Deep" song. Somehow she felt like she was the victim in the breakup, when she was the one who ended it and told me she doesn't love me any more. The new song by Bruno Mars is having the same effect on me "It will Rain". Ever time I hear that song it rips me apart. There are a few by Joss Stone that have just the opposite effect...they are great...You can't avoid that song by Adele...it's in the "over play" phase lately...but hang in there...it will get better...the day will come that song won't make you cry...and when you realize it you will get a huge smile and sing along.
