sadprincess Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 yep....at this day and age, nobody knows anyone's phone number by heart. i may recognize his area code, but if i had to contact him, no way would i know what to dial. i'd have to get desperate and ask a friend. so i broken a lot of the NC rule. this should help. Quick recap: i was dumped about a week ago. and my bday is this weekend. lucky me, i had a true WINNA:)

It took me a few weeks to do that with my ex's number...I found myself texting him with silly questions just to have contact. So I've deleted it and a friend is holding onto the bit of paper with the number on it Having to ask a friend isn't desperate, its a really good thing! They can make sure you don't do it! If you haven't already, I would suggest removing them from FB etc too Good luck! xx

Author sadprincess Posted October 14, 2011 Author Posted October 14, 2011 yes, i found my self too always the one initiating contact, writing whatever just to have contact....and if anyone knew me well.....i HATE initiating contact. that boy bout turned me bonkers...doing crazy things, acting like a looney tune. and i started to hate myself, feeling retarded. he brought my self-esteem to an all time low. and its about time i start cleaning up my act. and farrah, get a new and better phone! heck.....don't know what it works, but treating yourself to new materialistic things are a great way of moving on!
