oaks Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I texted her and she replied tonight. i said "hey whats up? I didnt get a chance to ask you in class today but I was wondering if over break or sometime if maybe we can meet up somewhere and work on our project and hangout or something? I never get the chance to talk to u much or anything in class lol." Too many ifs and maybes. Sometime and somewhere aren't specific enough... and now from her reply you think she's the one being ambiguous! I think she's just not interested, but if you don't get that then you need to ask a more direct question in the first place. That way you might get a more direct answer, and if it's "no" then you should know to ignore any further romantic ideas with her. Also, no it isn't okay for you to ask her again at the end of semester. But you will, because you're just trolling us with a repeat of what happened with the previous imaginary girl. I dare you to ask out 1 new girl a month for the rest of the year. We'll count this one for October, so that's only 2 more to go. Think you can do it? You need the experience (of getting rejected, probably, but we've all been there).

oaks Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 (edited) So why do you say I shouldn't ask her again, when others are saying I should? Because I think her reply suggests very strongly that she isn't interested even though she didn't say FOAD. If she was interested she would've found a way to say "yes". When someone is interested in you it's obvious. It isn't uncertain. However, it takes some experience to really know this so I don't expect you to be able to figure it out EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE JUST REPEATING WHAT YOU DID WITH THE PREVIOUS GIRL. I still dare you to ask out 2 more girls by the end of the year. You clearly need the practice, and it'll get your mind off this one. Edited October 13, 2011 by oaks typo

I don't have anymore girls to really ask out in my other classes who are remotely attractive. I have a soccer player super hottie in one of my classes but like she's totally out of my league. I like this girl though a lot and would like to get to know her.

If she was interested she would've said "i'm going out of town that week... but I could meet you the weekend after" or something like that.
