ziggue Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 My ex boyfriend ends our relationship because he has a lot on he's plate and he is not ready for anything serious because of he's last sh*tty relationship which ended almost ten months ago now. He then admits that he still likes me and that if I were to remain friends with him something might happen again in the future. If thinks are meant to be they will work out. He did not deny that there was not something between us. When I brought it up and got that response to it. Then before he leaves. He says something about catching up again and walks out. Mixed signals? I am still assuming that it is over and have not contacted him since. Doing the no contact thing. Reckon I will hear from him again?

"If things are meant to be then they will work out" is a great way to absolve himself of any responsibility for whatever may or may not happen between you two. Tread carefully.
