When we first started going out , he might have played only when I was not there . But later on he played more and more.

He said he had been playing since he was a kid. Now , I know a lot of people play video games but there is a fine line between just having fun and being addicted.

He would play for a few hours after work and straight away watch tv. On weekends he would play from maybe 10 am until 4 or 5 pm . He would maybe go and meet a friend sometimes but just stayed inside.

We lived together so I would just see him by going into the study . He might have had a break to have sex with me and then go straight back.Nice huh.

He was into World of warcraft and call of duty or something. I would bring him snacks and make us lunch.

I mean playing for almost 6 hours is too long right ?And he often rejected me for sex for it. I might not be a supermodel but I am not a troll either.

Have you ever had to deal with this ?

Umm...I am a guy that plays video games but that guy is clearly addicted to video games. How did you put up with that type of behavior? You're too nice!!! Weren't you pissed off? If I knew someone like that I would honestly tell them how they were wasting their life away.

Lol Antz. It sounds like he is a game nerd. You need to talk with him to resolve this situation. He is clearly not seeing what he is missing. Its a pity people often don't realize what they have until its gone.

Your ex sounds like a ridiculous human being from the outside looking in, but if we all look a little more closely, I guess we could find similar dynamics at play in our own doomed former relationships.

Towards the end, my ex would stay on twitter, facebook, AIM, and re-watch episodes of TV shows she knew I hated in the few hours we'd get to spend with each other every night. This is instead of sex or conversation. Why did we put up with this ****?
