Alright I read through the whole dating a solider thread and can understand that some women wouldn't be able to deal with that kind of lifestyle. Now I work as a LEO and several times have had women turn me down when asking for a date. Most of the time I'm given the usual back out reasons, but the other day I heard one that really suprised me from a friend (I didn't ask her out, was just talking about problems and she mentioned her point of view). She said she wouldn't date someone who's a LEO because of how common cheating is among 'em and all the stories she's heard. Now I won't deny there are some pretty bad characters out there, but I'm sure there are in every profession. Now I'm not like that, I avoid a ONS 'cause I'd rather have a relationship with meaning. So my question is: do many women believe this?

I've always heard that cops were big-time cheats. And doctors, too.

I have no idea if there is any truth to it, and I have never been in a semi-serious or serious R with either.
