lovesickpuppy Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 So, 2 weeks after dumping me by text for no apparent reason, I find out my ex of 3 years has just had sex with an underage girl that is the total opposite to me while still trying to maintain contact with me... I was angry and sent him a long text calling him pretty much every name under the sun and then telling him I'm glad we're over, that's he's a worthless piece of **** and that I regret ever being with him. Was this stupid of me? I just want him to realise I'm not on his leash anymore but I still in a way want him to one day realise his mistake. Do you think he ever will? After all, it's pretty obvious it's a rebound!

It's done and can't be taken back, besides, compared to what he's doing, I don't think you have anything to worry about. The best way to make a dumper realise their mistake is to correct all of our own first. By that I mean, make yourself a better person by working on you and you alone. Heal and grow from this. Should there come a time when he sees you in the future, then and only then will he realise what he threw away. Quite how you'd see him though.. what with him being in prison for sleeping with underage girls and all that.
karmaqueen Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 I don't know whether he will realise his mistake, but you have told him once, so leave it at that. Don't degrade yourself by talking to him- you are obviously worth more than that creep.
