TheDovic
Just curious... I've been using Paul McKenna's "I can mend your broken heart" cd which came free with his book. I've also just bought Erick Brown's "Mend your broken heart" mp3 on Amazon. Apparently this album can be listened to whilst you sleep so could be handy! The reason I'm asking is because I'm starting to notice subtle changes to how I view my ex since using Paul McKenna's cd and am not just as desperate as I once was. (It recommends using once per day for 21 days - I've currently been using for about a week) Has anyone else tried this and if so have they had any success?
immitable
yep it does help me, I've heard of him too but I used differet ones, downloaded them to my ipod. Hypnosis really helps me boost self confidence, have a positive outlook on the world and to calm down.

Thanks Immitable, I'm getting really curious because something is definitely changing in me i.e. I'm really starting to accept she isn't coming back, plus I've found myself thinking about dating other girls, which I haven't really done before. Still sad, actually really sad at times but I've a bit of hope so maybe it's working!

Yes m8y i use to listen every night and i also saw a hypo therapist once a week for two months, I always felt good when i came out but it never lasted. i was hoping after 2 months that my mind set would have changed but didn't as i'm still upset of my relationship breakdown. Fleabitten
This is interesting. Anyone have any suggestions of ones to download/buy? I tried a hypnosis cd for when I had trouble with my confidence when show jumping with my horse – haha... trivial stuff, but still, it really helped, definitely believe it works. Though now I'm willing to try anything that might have a chance of helping me even a fraction...

Fleabitten
I'm skeptical So was I, but my ex-ex who was a heavy smoker had one hypnotherapy session and never smoked again (or at least not for 4 years, I don't know if he does now but I doubt it). So its clearly pretty powerful stuff in some instances, though I'm not sure it works for all people.
immitable
they do help because when you break up you are alone, you don't know what the othetr person is thinking and our subliminal mind is going around in circles as to trying to figure out why it happened, we blame ourselves our selfesteem is at its lowest becuase we used to be a part of something and now we're only a half, all those memories etc. Subliminal mind can be stimulated to move you forward in life and feel better. It is how you feel and how you project your feelings to the world. Your mind (subliminal) needs to be trained. To illustrate this I'll take karate lessons for example (now I sound like the movie matrix I know he he ) YOu repeat the same movements on and on. When the situation arises (if you haven't trained) your mind, no matter how strong you are is not capable of reacting that fast and can't make the right moves, you get beaten down. The trained subliminal (unconscious) mind on the other hand reacts and provides defense before you realise what happened.

Viv
I listen to the Paul McKenna one sometimes, not consistently, but when I'm really 'longing' for my ex and it seems to help in the short term. Long term, I don't know because I'm not sure how I'd be feeling if I hadn't tried it, heart break is such a unique situation there's not much to compare it too. I also bought some by Glenn Harrold for self-esteem and relaxation and really do feel different after listening to them, and they have some amazing reviews on Amazon. Please keep us posted about Erick Brown's after you've used it for a bit!
