annabanana85 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 So I met this guy in the club three weekends ago and we started dating. He seemed pretty legit and not shady. We are both in med school both foreigners so we kind of hit it off. He was physically my type and really sweet. He seemed a little immature though; he is 23 but he looked way younger for his age and had lived with his parents up until this year. I am 25 and have lived on my own since 17 and am very mature for my age. We had a date the next day where I invited to a party with my friends. I ended up going back to his place and we had sex. He was really nice and kept telling me that he really likes me. He sent me messages after saying that he really enjoyed spending time with me and really misses me. We met up the following weekend as well but after then his messages started tapering off. I know that he is very busy with school so I put it down to that. He also stopped being affectionate and his messages became very casual and curt. So I took it that he lost interest. Today he sent me a msg asking me whats up - we hadnt seen each other for like a week. But he didnt ask to meet me or anything. Then his friend from med school (a much older guy) started chatting to me on FB. He told me that my guy is really lucky to have me and that I am very pretty. He said he wants to meet me for drinks over the wknd and I said yes. I txted this to my guy saying, "Your friend contacted me for drinks. Strange I know, but do you want to have drinks all of us together?" He responded, "I am not going and I am not going to pretend that I do not understand." So we started talking on chat and I said I'm sorry but the situation was awkward for me and I didnt know how to handle it. I also told him that I am not interested in his friend and only said yes because I didnt want to be rude. He said its no big deal and that his friend always gets into trouble. I told him that I misinterpreted the whole situation and didnt think that he might be interested in me since I thought they were good friends and that I will just contact him to cancel the meeting. He was not very responsive although he asked me what my plans are for the wknd. What do you guys think? Is he not into me, why did he lose interest all of sudden? Also why did he act strange when I told him about the awkward situation with the friend? Or was he just a player who has no regard for my feelings?
