Hi! There's this girl I met at a coffeeshop today, and I really want to take her on a date the next time I see her there (we're both regulars).

Now this might sound really silly, but is there a significant difference between phrasing it like:

1. "Can I give you a call sometime?"

2. "Can I take you out sometime?"

3. "Do you want to have dinner sometime?"

It sounds like each of these have differing levels of seriousness/casualness to them along with specificity. Because of these differing levels, I don't know if one is more accepted or used in practice than others. Since it will only be the second time I've talked to her (we only talked for five minutes the first time), what will be best? And if you have another phrasing, please suggest! Thanks in advance!

Um, I mean.. they all point toward a common goal. But if I had to choose, the "give you a call" one sounds the best to me. That's what I normally say, at least.

I don't like any of them honestly.

I don't like the obvious you're asking for permission type phrasing. I prefer something like hey i was thinking of checking out x for drinks this weekend, you should come type phrasing.
