duckrepair Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 What am I to do? Meeting up this weekend....I'm nervous =o) His most recent photo, I favour the most. There's also a body shot photo I like. But two others...? ... He's surely not meaning to deceive; all these photos are recent & he appears the same age in all of them. Looks aren't everything, of course. But I'm very much into the aforementioned recent.. But I fear worst case---that I won't be attracted because of the other ones he may look more like..
Sanman Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 And the world will come to an end if you go on a date with the guy and decide you are not attracted?

My H and I have a friend who looks different in every single picture, never in my life have I seen this. It all depends on lighting, the angle, inside or outside pictures. And, the mood of the person affects the picture too. Don't focus too much on how he looks, wait to see if there's a connection and some basic chemistry (aka potiental) when you two meet face to face.
FitChick Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 How old is he? When a guy is middle-aged and has several photos, I go by the hairline (receding), jawline (sagging) and the waistline (expanding) to tell which pic is the most recent.
oaks Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 What am I to do? Meeting up this weekend.... You should stop worrying about things you already knew about before you agreed to meet him and go and enjoy the date. Maybe you won't like him when you meet, but that's just how dating works sometimes.
Lucky_One Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Wouldn't it be sort of stupid to send you the same four pictures?
Nexus One Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 That's common with photo's, not surprising at all. Different angles and lighting situations can make a person look like completely different people.
Author duckrepair Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 He's 26 years old... In one photo he's with an old camaro (mid-eighties) but luckily i can tell it's a current photo and not 1985 since the cars in the background are modern I'll ask him if he's into Andy Warhol or maybe even Picasso :] Also, sure it'd be silly of him to send the same four. But really wish i wouldnt have seen that one...it's throws me off! I'll definitely focusing on chemistry more than his physical appearance. However - These are such extreme differences between the one I really love and the one that I just don't think i could have chemistry with.. Ive seen people look a touch different in every photo before but not such a huge varying degree where I'll adore one and recoil from another. But I guess some people might not look like their photos at all?
azsinglegal Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 In my experience, take the most unflattering photo and that's what he truly looks like. I know that when I take pictures, I will take several until I have the right angle to make my face look a certain way. I'd suspect most people do the same.
