rebeccajones Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I am just not enthused about anyone. I have met many men. Mostly online. I feel I'm ready for something new but I just don't like anyone. I also feel that every guy wants sex which is fine but I don't have ANY desire to have sex with them. Sex is so easy to get. I can pick up the phone and get it why do I want to have sex with any guy that I go on a few dates with?? I don't know I just don't like dating and I have no strong desire to have sex with just anyone. I will do it but these guys all want it and it's annoying. O well I am venting. Any constructive advice?
OnyxSnowfall Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Forget men for now and concentrate on yourself.Cut back on trying to meet men online and get out more (sign up for a membership / volunteering in something that intrigues you... look up local social events in the newspaper / at a trendy beverage shop that advertises them, go out to places that involve things you are interested in... when you see a man that could interest you, make eye contact with him and flirt with your body [if you don't want to approach him for light conversation etc]. Nearly all men are going to want sex. It's okay if you're not currently sexually interested in anyone, you don't have to try to force yourself to be --- I went a couple of years like that before I finally met someone who reignited my sex drive (granted I had given up hope lol).

Yes, keep filtering out the guys that only want sex and keep looking for a guy that is in the state of mind for a relationship, a guy who has a desire for things beyond the mere superficial. Many guys need to develop a consciousness for a relationship oriented perspective, not all guys are in that phase of their life. Some guys develop it early, some later and some not at all. It's up to you to make a proper judgement which guy is in that state of mind.
