I guess sometimes the songs we listen to when we are down help us to bleed out the poisons. Just the same as when we are feeling good, we might try to find songs that help us to maintain the energetic feeling(s) we have inside of ourselves.

Blues Traveler - "The Hook"

especially the "suck it in, suck it in, suck it in" part. It's like, get down to the gut feeling. Geez...where have I heard that before?.......

GREAT song! Todd Rundgren is amazing--I saw him live three years ago--he was still jumping all over the stage like he wasn't almost 70 years old......

I've had a lot of difficult emotional stuff to deal with this year, so I guess this song sums it up for me.---It's not one of my favorites, per se, but I do like it a lot............. a great Allman Brothers classic

Anything by Lifehouse as it is my favorite band, but to choose one that others may like and relate too well....

Broken - by Lifehouse

Lifehouse - Somewhere in Between

This song makes me think of how you change when you find you love a new woman. It's called "Then She Appeared"

The first line is "then she appeared, apple venus on a half-open shell". It only gets better from there.

The allman brothers band sang a song of freedom and happiness (probably the only one time they ever did in that way) is below

"Jessica' is actually one of my faves by them---smokin' piano solo....

I get Happy Feet every time I hear it.........:bunny: Thanks for suggesting it.

there is one more they do that has a similar spirit--another one of my faves by them:

(newer recording with Warren Haynes, but Dickey Betts was still in the band---great combo...)
