Author jerryinva Posted May 15, 2004 Author Posted May 15, 2004 My family says I worry to much (about everything.) Friends and family say no contact is the way to go...since she asked for time... and I made it through Friday, with no contact... :-) But, I miss her. :-(
lost_in_chgo Posted May 15, 2004 Posted May 15, 2004 Buckle up jerry, it could be a long wild ride. I've been dealing with this for 7 months now. Don't expect a quick turnaround, you'll just drive yourself crazy. So you should really go out and socialize as much as possible. It helps.

I was re-reading a book by Blase Harris last night, and it mentioned that if they ask for space, you should give it to them, that not all is lost. But, that if you chase after them, they will run. My folks think by Monday she will call me...I think they are wrong... but I try to keep hope alive. She is my best friend...
