Mark1 Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 -Prof has always been really nice to me (jokes, hugs, letters of rec) -Had her for 2 semesters -Every day I have my laptop out in class; she's never minded -The other day, she was having a bad day, and snapped at me for having it out -Today she sent an email somberly apologizing -FWIW, I had no problem with her snapping (its her class, after all) Do I reply to the email? Do I say something to her in class? I want to ask her out after I graduate, how can I help/hurt my cause? Use this email to make a move? Thanks

Lucky_One Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 I would simply respond and say "No problem. I didn't think anything of it." And then leave off any sort of "personal" stuff until after you graduate. Do NOT get into a inappropriate relationship with your professor!
