I have lost 20 pounds. Gotten skinny. Gotten way out of shape. Feel weak as all hell and uncoordinated. I think I could be knocked over with a feather. Started self-medicating. Diet is all over the place. Sleep is all mixed up. And too much coffee! This is PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

 

I called my old gym today. They are still in business. I go down there tomorrow to sign up again for a month. And then I go spend 100 bucks on some better foods and vitamins.

Well, I did it. Spent 260 bucks on stuff. Replenished my vitamin supply. Bought lots of healthy food and it's all in the fridge and freezer. Went shopping for clothes too, and got a pair of Nike Airwalks and some shirts. Bought protein powder. Just never made it to the gym! I'll do that tomorrow and set up my membership to start this Saturday morning.

Well, I did it. Spent 260 bucks on stuff. Replenished my vitamin supply. Bought lots of healthy food and it's all in the fridge and freezer. Went shopping for clothes too, and got a pair of Nike Airwalks and some shirts. Bought protein powder. Just never made it to the gym! I'll do that tomorrow and set up my membership to start this Saturday morning.

Good! One day at a time. How do you make your protein shakes? Did you know that you can throw veggies in there and not taste them? It's awesome. I put spinach, kale and carrots in mine and they just blend right in :)

Yes, i knew that. But what kind of protein powder do you buy? I don't think kale and carrots and spinach would go too great with my chocolate flavored whey, would it? :confused: But I am interested in your idea!

 

I add yogurt, strawberries and banana, pineapple to mine. Things like that. I mix it up a bit.

 

I usually just have the drink before I hit the gym in the morning. Then come home, shower up and have a proper breakfast.

I buy either vanilla whey protein, or this green hemp protein from whole foods- it looks weird but it tastes fine and it has fiber. I put almond milk, frozen berries, 1/2 banana, veggies, and flax seeds in and blend. All you taste is berry/ banana! I've tried it with chocolate before- not as good. :)

I think i'll try the hemp or even soy protein. Had it before years ago. Might mix better with the veggies.

 

Heck! I can even toss in some tomatoes there!

 

I think I am likin' this idea :bunny:
