Woggle Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 How sad is this and what does it say about modern dating? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/10/03/fake-girlfriend-texting-service_n_992152.html?ir=Women
Thierro Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 It's not sad. It's just about making money. Guy's eat stuff like that.
Gold Pile Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Thanks Woggle, great idea! Trying to land a GF this way is sad, but just trying to score is another matter.
fortyninethousand322 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 Is it bad if I'd actually consider doing this?
motive2002 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 ROFL "Hold on, getting another text from Scarlett Johansson..."
Nexus One Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 1. It's basically lying. Not a good way to start out a relationship in my opinion. 2. I don't think it would work in my favor, at least not with the type of women I tend to like. I often look at things from my own perspective to get an idea if they would work when the genders would be reversed. Suppose I hit on a girl and I find out she is NOT single. Then I will break off the process right then and there and will not even give her my contact information. The kind of women I tend to feel attracted to would draw the line at the same point, you just don't keep hitting on someone of who you know they're already in a relationship.
ThsAmericanLife Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 me too Nexus. Once a guy tells me they have a girlfriend, he's instantly in the friendzone. No questions asked. And I'm looking at him thinking 'why did I have to ASK you if you had a GF???"
