momto3boys Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Today i was wondering, do you think many people file for separation or divorce out of anger or to try to get the dumpee to realize they need to change?
ShatteredReality Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 Yes. Absolutely. Likely a higher percentage than we'd suspect.
carhill Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I've always assumed, perhaps erroneously, that anger and hurt were the primary reasons for filing for divorce. Read any contested divorce case summary for more evidence
Tayla Posted September 30, 2011 Posted September 30, 2011 Primarily those are the two top "emotions" exhibited during the filing stage. My ex and I were rational by the time we filed, so the emotions were only those of sadness that we grieved our failure.
