luvstrak Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 me n my x had one of those mutual break ups where we both felt the relay was not working and so we decided we maintain the friendship.now i am seeing this woman who is as sweet as cheries and everything was all good until recently when she decided to view my facebook profile. apparently she found out that the x's picture is still in one of those albums.now she says it really makes her uncomfortable as such she gives me this attitude.the funny thing is i have been honets as in i have told her of all my xz,those that are blacklisted n those that are still in my good books as friendz and only friends.besides my effort to comfort her and re assure her that she shouldnt be insecure, she still give me a tough time about the recent x.its as though she caught me cheating with her sometimes.the question is am i wrong in thinking that theres is life for two people after they breakup or is my woman just being an arse?
carhill Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 How long ago was the breakup? When was the last time you and your ex had personal contact (Facebook doesn't count as personal contact)? Is your ex a supporter of your new relationship?
nofool4u Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 is it cool and alright to have an X for a friend? sure, if you never want a future relationship that will last. would you want a girlfriend to be good friends with a guy that has given her an orgasm on many an occasion?
Lauriebell82 Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 How long ago was the breakup? When was the last time you and your ex had personal contact (Facebook doesn't count as personal contact)? Is your ex a supporter of your new relationship? Why does facebook not count? I am not friends with ANY of my exs on facebook nor would I ever want to be. That would freak my husband out, I would probably be freaked out if he was friends with an ex gf as well. OP, I don't blame your gf I would be uncomfortable with my husband being friends with an ex gf. So you have to ask yourself if an ex gf is worth jeapordizing your relationship.
carhill Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 For the purposes of determining contact with an ex, a person with whom one has swapped bodily fluids, I use the parameter of in-person contact as a clear identifier of interest and intentions. If the OP has had no personal contact with his ex and the pictures on FB are the remains of his past R, then that's one sign. If other, other. Hence the question.
