amandaalaurenn Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 so I've been dating this guy for 6 months now, he went on vacation 3 months ago, and i found a message that seemed to be like he had cheated on me, I comfronted him about the message and he stated that nothing happened, I believed him becuase in the message it didnt seem that he did either. The other day..3 months later, I have found out that he ended up making out and dancing with a girl when he went on vacation 3 months earlier. Now I extremely like this guy and I he told me how he was completely wasted and how he is so ashamed and discusted about what he has done. He has also said that he did not tell me when it happened becase he thought keeping it from me wouldnt hurt me because i had already been balling my eyes out, so he never ended up telling me for my sack, now i know its just a french kiss, but im not to sure if I will ever trust him again although i really do want to. was i wrong to take him back? how do i get him to prove to me i can trust him?

Whether or not you can trust him or not is up to you. I think it looks a lot worse for him that he tried to hide it vs coming out and telling you it happened very soon after. He definitely cheated and then tried to hide it. I do not tolerate that at all but you're going to have to decide for yourself if you can move past it or not.
