"Taking things slow": How often do you text?

So, for a relationship in its early stages, when you see each other maybe once a week, but are into each other yet agree to "keep things casual" - how often do you stay in touch in between meeting? Text everyday/once a day/every few hours/every couple of days?

 

I am curious to hear what different people's opinions and expectations are with regards to this.

Casual would be every other week or a couple times a month.

I would only text to set up date's, talk dirty, get pics.

Twice a month? Considering you hypothetically meet once a week, I think communicating once every two weeks is a tad rare.

 

What about playful, friendly texting? Or any sort of communication that keeps the "relationship" going. Could be a phone call instead also.

If it's casual it's because one of you doesn't consider the other a priority.

If it's them, well they can catch up when we meet.

I would probably only call/text to arrange our next meeting if we both agreed to keep things casual. Maybe once or twice in between if I had something relevant to say.
