aguy205 Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 (edited) About a year ago, I met a girl through a mutual friend. We hung out 15-20 times with friends. I know she was interested, but I wasn't available at the time, so we never dated or anything. But I was interested in her, so we exchanged numbers. That group of friends drifted apart. A month later, I tried calling her several times, but never got a pick up. I was hurt because I really liked her. But I assumed she wasn't interested anymore, and have since gotten over it. No communication in about a year, and now she just called me 3(!) times this past week. I didn't pick up because I'm hesitant to reopen that can of worms. I'm really surprised and confused about her calling a year later. Especially since we never even knew each other that well. More of acquaintances I'd say. But her persistence is making me rethink this. Thoughts? Ladies, have you ever had "what if's" like this? Edited September 25, 2011 by aguy205 clarity
rafallus Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 After a year, you and her may be quite different people, I don't think clinging to past rejection is reasonable thing to do. See where it goes, but don't get too excited, as there is no reason to do so, until you meet.
