LoveandSuch Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Having just stepped back out in the potential dating field I have been treading from the shallow end of the pool slowly and I can tell you the water is COLD! Even through depression and dark periods my self esteem amd dignity are at extremely healthy levels and it feels wonderful. I have NO questions or maybes in my vocab regarding the opposite sex. An example there was this guy at work, another new one, who was definitely for a month showing clear interest, head turning, eye contact, much more and done in not so apparent and apparent manners. Very demure, cute, and friendly. But, watched him the other day, flirting with everything that walked in a womanizer/player type fashion. A darkness fell within myself, head to toe in wave like fashion. He glanced back at me as he was leaving and my PERMANENT thoughts were, "No way in hell buddy, the potential is now completely DEAD!!!! I have no questions, I have no further interest, I actually feel disgust and am completely turned off. This is a great feeling to NEXT so effortlessly and without care:))))))
daphne Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Good for you, for not trying to compete for his affection when, from your description he doesn't sound like much of a keeper to begin with. There's nothing that will whittle a girl's self esteem down more than chasing after a challenge that's really just a bad boy.
