Johnny85 Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 If Prince William weren't a prince, would you date him? Cheers!
KathyM Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 If Prince William weren't a prince, would you date him? Cheers! If I were his age, single and he were not a prince, then probably not. He's actually balding already, and he's only late 20s. Of course, I'm sure he has impeccable manners, intellligent and a quality guy, but physically, I don't think I'd be attracted.
Eternal Sunshine Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I don't find him physically attractive so no.
Citizen Erased Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 His brother is better looking. But William is cute, very well spoken and nice. He's amazingly well adjusted considering his family. He's Anglican, has a good job in the RAF, I'd say he's a catch, Prince or no. Of course, he is a Duke, Earl and Baron as well.
oaks Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Of course, he is a Duke, Earl and Baron as well. Great answer.
TBH Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 William was a lovely looking boy but now unfortunately takes more after his father in the looks department which is a shame considering how lovely his mum was. Harry is actually nicer as they have got older, he's very cheeky looking and looks like a bit of a laugh. I think they both seem to be lovely young men but neither float my boat
Hot Chick Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 I consider myself a bit too old to date a guy his age for my own personal preferences (10 years older), but I would go out with him. College educated (I won't date anyone without at least a 4-year degree), military background...he's obviously intelligent and likes to travel. I might be charmed by his personality...so I'd have to say "yes." I go out with guys all the time who I don't feel a huge chemistry with, but it can grow on me once I spend time with them.
Author Johnny85 Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 So far 3 girls/women said nay and two yays. Here comes the shallow portion of this post: Women tell me all the time that I look like prince William A LOT. Of course that does not mean that I am a good looking or unattractive (depending on who you ask), but I think there is obviously a resemblance and we are both going bald, although I am a few years behind him. I am on OKcupid, and I have sent so many girls a genuine message, and I cannot believe how few send me a message back. I don't think I am that unattractive, some girls must think I am cute. Yet it is crazy how low the response rate is on there. I think I am very approachable on there, too. I have had one real girlfriend, which lasted for 4 years. She was a bombshell and I always felt unattractive compared to her. The relationship ended, and I feel like sometimes girls look at me and smile, but I am not sure if they do so to be kind. One of the girls who did respond to me on Okcupid seems nice, and we text message, have some things in common, but I am shy and she bailed on me twice (we still text). An honest opinion is really needed here. Am I aiming too high? lol I am pursuing my MBA, funny, ambitious, tall, some girls would perhaps call me cute, yet, online dating just sucks for me!! When I lose my hair, should I shave my head? Ladies, honest opinion really needed here. http://www.okcupid.com/profile/Stylemania?cf=regular Thanks
january2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I found online dating to be a numbers game. And it's difficult to find genuine and sincere people who are serious about dating for long-term relationship potential rather than just quick hook-ups, though OKCupid seems to be one of the better ones. But it does depend somewhat on geographical location and age range. Have you tried other channels as well? Perhaps joining a meetup group? You seem like the kind of guy who is very active and it may be worth trying that avenue where you have a good starting point from shared interests. At the very least, you'll make some friends and those could lead to more opportunities.
snug.bunny Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 If Prince William weren't a prince, would you date him? Cheers! OK, so I assume you're asking strictly from a physical standpoint? If so, not my preference physically. There is something about him physically, that I don't find sexually appealing.

Thanks for the advice It is true that I have met quite a few girls in the past few months from various activities. One woman in her forties even asked me out.

january2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 So you are desirable to someone, perhaps not the someone you were hoping for, given your choice of smiley. However, a result and a step nonetheless.
Sooner or Later Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 No. Harry is sexier and looks like he has a bit of kink to him.
soserious1 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Hmm.. in a word ,no because prince or not, he's married
AHardDaysNight Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Hmm.. in a word ,no because prince or not, he's married Nice save! Kidding!

I think you should deffo shave your hair off before it gets to how Williams is now. i think your head shape could take being shaved no problem.
Taramere Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 If Prince William weren't a prince, would you date him? Cheers! Leaving aside the age problem, he's a bit horsey and earnest looking. Harry looks like much more of a mischievous goer. However, Prince William certainly isn't ugly and the fact is that he is a prince. I think you're better looking than Prince W because you don't have the same equine look. On the other hand, that also means you are less aristocratic in appearance. I wouldn't date Prince William even with him being a Prince. What makes you think I would date him if here weren't a Prince. Being a real life Prince doesn't mean I will be interested. Aha. Well perhaps this sheds some light onto the problem you commonly encounter - and which you've often complained about on here. That of getting poor customer service even when you're dressed from head to toe in expensives. As a prince's girlfriend, regardless of how cheaply your ass was clad, it would still be getting kissed ardently and constantly by the service industry. You could be wearing a pair of cheap canvas shoes and an old boiler suit, and the hoi polloi would still be breaking their Jimmy Choo heels as restaurant staff chased them away from the best tables to make room for you.
LoveandSuch Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 William used to be sooooo attractive. Harry is more my type, BUT, he is bad news. He seems a backdoor man, in and out. Dangerous boy! Heartbreaker.
