I shake my head at this because it's sad and pathetic and makes you women look so much worse than you already do. Not to mention, how so easy it is to let a strange guy bag those goodies. Every time I'm out and about on a Friday, more than half the women on the streets are drunk, drunk texting, walking in a fog because of drinks, or just plain tipsy from several wine glasses. Don't you women understand? If you drink more than twice, you're doomed!

Except women obviously can't handle as much drink as men so end up in worse states. And the drink culture where I live is disgraceful, and it's not a minority it's a majority.

I did have stints where I'd do a lot when going out, but for the most part I was moderate and even now light. What I found though is you now pick and choose WHERE you go to drink. You go to the college bars and party bars to chug drinks and get trashed. Same with the clubs. You go to the wine bars, elegant lounges, even the combo lounge/restaurant spots to have social drinks and not be around drunks. As for the men and women who do drink loads whenever they go out, it's a narcotic for them. They want to be trashed/wasted. Alcohol for them is about getting trashed, nothing else.

You go out on Friday nights (presumably to bars or clubs) and are surprised to see a great deal of people drinking alcohol? I'm not sure this is a phenomenon that you've "discovered". In any occasion, I have no idea why some women drink. I suppose it's because they feel like it. I myself haven't consumed alcohol since I was 18.

While I agree women (not all, but the majority of women my age) get plastered and often into worse states than men when they binge, it's not because they intend to, it's because they're not able to drink as much and they don't know how to be responsible with alcohol. Also you have to take into account men that will buy drinks for them and student nights, free entry to clubs for women etc... The guy who said they do it so they have an excuse when they cheat or whatever, I don't believe that. It sounds too far-fetched and planned out. Why do that when they can just say 'I don't remember what happened'? The thing that makes me sad and genuinely upset is that a lot of these young women will get into a bad state while drunk but then do it again weeks later. It's a never ending cycle. Peer pressure has a lot to do with it as well. I absolutely hate alcohol, I think it's ruining the country (UK) and our young people.

I like to have a drink sometimes but I don't get plastered like some people do. Also if you want to see some good cat fights stand outside of the clubs in this area between 2 and 3 in the morning.

Also, you can't "go gay" unless the feeling, curiosity, or desire is already in there someplace. In my case, my desire for a female body is too powerful. I never ever once in any of my threads stated I "can't stand women". You just choose to believe that based on the fact that I call you women out on your crap and complete denegerative behavior. When I see good, stable, honest, and loving women, I call them on it with admiration and genuine interest in getting to know them. Truth be told to you that these kinds of women are very far and in-between today.

There are some that intend to do it, stupid drinking games etc... but not all those who end up in states do, probably not even most. They just don't know when to stop. I was seeing a girl once who passed out and had to go to hospital because she hadn't eaten and was drinking Malibu, she wasn't downing it but she was just stupid. People who down a whole bottle of liquor in a few minutes are the minority of drinkers, and they would be the minority of people who drink and get ****faced. I used to get drunk a lot too, so did my friends, but we never did stupid stuff like that.

Oh Woggle the young have been getting drunk & acting foolish in bars,pubs & clubs for eons.. it's a stage that most grow out of. I prefer wine over a nice dinner in a great restaurant or in the privacy of my home

I personally don't believe it for the reasons I've stated. You also have lack of inhibitions when drunk, peer pressure and other stuff. Oh, this happens very widely and goes beyond nightclubs. I've seen women, working on a library, hushing a co-worker to come to the woman' bathroom to fix a pipe. but he knows pipes as much as I know African history. Half an hour later they come out of it all flustered and with their clothes disarranged. It can happen anytime, to any man. One of the reasons why I can't take women seriously. Seen too much, went through stuff too much, and I have no illusions about human nature.
