new1 Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 man, in some ways I was really into the girl I was dating and married to for 5 years - I'm 28 now. I would like to find someone better than her this time. Someone intelligent and multifaceted. She was the only girl I considered that I could learn anything from -- dumb as nails in some ways (she didn't know her right from her left) but those aren't the ways I thought I could learn anything anyway. The things she did know about, art, history, literature, fashion, etc, were really interesting to me, but in the end I want someone who's intelligent in every way, not just in the nontraditional way. where do I find someone more normal.
nofool4u Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 where did you meet the girl you were married to?
Author new1 Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 where did you meet the girl you were married to? I was introduced to her by a family member, a licensed psychologist, who made her acquaintance in the psychological part of a live chat online system. why do you ask?
nofool4u Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 Reason I asked is the title of your thread is "how" to find someone better. And I figured if you met her at a bar or club, there is your first clue how to meet someone better. Not in those places. So then I guess the "how" would be to find a girl on your own rather than being set up or introduced. Its kind of hard to answer your question as the "how" you found her in the first place isn't really a huge deal. Maybe if you meet someone, take it slow. Get to know her, etc.
FrustratedStandards Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 When you figure that out, let me know.
